======Citropolis======
Citropolis is a complete world-in-a-city, and is the setting where the entirety of //Origin Story// will take place. On the whole, it is a bustling, colourful place; but each of its seven districts lends its own unique character, lending the city a patchwork feel -- clusters of skyscrapers, a bombastic mall and gothic gardens are all just a monorail ride away from each other.

The political system in Citropolis is bureaucratic and confusing, but the democratically elected [[central#notable_characters|Mayor]] is the one who makes most of the tangible changes in the city, making them a key figure in the Citropolitan news cycle.

=====The Districts=====

**Central**\\
The [[central|Central District]] is the current hub of the city, containing many important infrastructure elements, such as the Town Hall and Hospital.

**Business Sector**\\
The [[Business Sector]] is the heart of business and finance. There is also a selection of pricy housing, and other facilities for those willing to pay the premium. 

**Redevelopment Area**\\
The [[redevelopment|Redevelopment District]] is the newest area of the city. While initially promised as a fresh new opportunity for the city, these grand prospects have sadly fallen short.

**Old Town**\\
The [[Old Town]] houses some of the earliest known parts of Citropolis. Steeped in history, this area chronicles the foundations of the city as we know it today.

**Recreational**\\
The [[recreational|Recreational District]] is the place to go to hang out and have some fun. While there's attractions for all ages, the crowd definitely skews a little younger than other areas of the city, and more than a few times kids have been caught here whilst skipping school.

**Greenfield Meadows**\\
[[suburbia|Greenfield Meadows]] is a primarily residential district of the city. Filled with green spaces, residents enjoy the quiet atmosphere, away from the busier parts of Citropolis.

**The Bay**\\
[[bay|The Bay]] consists of the coastal area of the city. Stretched along the waterfront, it has everything from tourist hotspots to run-down relics of the former shipping industry.

Citropolis has a wide variety of [[schools|educational establishments]] for students of all ages, spread throughout the city. 

===== Transport =====
Connecting the various areas of the city are a variety of public transport networks. Not too long ago, the primary method of getting around was the metro; an underground network connecting the major areas of the city. It was not without its controversies, though, and was slowly falling out of favour, until Mayor Meyer was elected, and created the new monorail system, one of his major campaign promises. These days the metro has far less footfall, although only the [[Old Town]] station actually closed.
