Citropolis High

Citropolis High

Located in Greenfield Meadows, it's the largest public school in Citropolis. Citropolis High is well funded, complete with labs, a well lit theatre, a competitive brawlball team and a swimming pool. The school also has a carefully curated reputation, courtesy of the parent-teacher association.

The school has something of a rivalry with The Udarnik Centre for Excellence. Citropolis High students look down on The Udarnik Centre, and feel pressure to outperform them – when the brawlball team loses the yearly showdown with “the Uds”, they are subject to much mockery.

Sparks are seen as taboo at Citropolis High, especially since an incident involving 2 students late last year. As a result, there are no out Sparks, student or staff.

Students at Citropolis High are aged 14-18.

Notable Characters

Alia McCarty (she/her, 17): An otherwise unassuming straight A student, Alia has made it clear that she is willing to do whatever it takes to become prom queen.

Chuck Thorne (he/him, 18): Controversial captain of the brawlball team, Chuck has a bit of a reputation as a bully. After being injured in a fight with Ellen Palmer last year, he has a particular distaste for Sparks.

Drew Jordan (they/them, 17): A jock on the brawlball team, they are less keen on Chuck than some of the other team members.

Ellen Palmer (she/her, 18): An ex-student, now attending The Alan Hoyne Institute, Ellen was expelled after injuring Chuck with her spark, which let her turn herself to stone.

Nathan Schaffer (he/him, 16): A member of the quiz team who takes winning all too seriously.

Patricia-May Holmes (she/her, 17): Daughter of a wealthy couple who work in the Horizon Banking Group and are often not home. Patricia-May has a reputation for throwing the best parties, and people clamour to get invited to them.

Rani Kelly (she/her, 16): A quirky but kind hearted theatre kid. Rani seems to spend almost all her time making school productions happen, but doesn't seem to mind this too much.

Citropolis High can give you the pop-culture High School experience. Whether you want to solicit an invite to the rich kids' party, try to avoid raucous jocks, or battle it out to become Prom Queen, you can find all manner of recognisable archetypes here to bounce off of. You won't know any Sparks at school at game start, and you’ll have the “Peter Parker experience” of trying to keep your school and Spark life separate.
